Guess what? We have door handles!!! For the first time in 8 years!!!! It's so weird - now I can open doors without having to attach bits of string, wire, or by jamming my fingers underneath and pulling! WOW! What a concept!!!! Hours of opening fun to be had by all!

Oohh! Just noticed the new 'Title' field. That's good! I can now put a completely unrelated Title on each bloggy bit! Well, except for today's which is actually quite relevant, being Monday and all. Oh, can't stop yawning today. Wish I could go for a little nap.... never mind. Well, no further trees have vanished in the near vacinity - at least none that I've noticed, which doesn't really say much!
Just had some great news yesterday, our good friend Puntin' Peter and his wife Erinn and lovely extra cute little daughter are coming over for Christmas! It'll be the first time we've met little baby Ailsa so we just can't wait!!!! It'll be great to see them all!
We had sort of hoped to have moved into our nice new house by Christmas, but since we haven't actually got this house on the market yet, I don't think that's going to happen! But we're nearly ready to have the 'For Sale' sign up... Then I'll be in a flustery panic! Just not thought that far ahead yet... Just concentrating on getting the place ready for sale first.

Oh boo! You know it's so annoying... Earlier this morning I had tons of things to blog on about, fabulously witty stuff, you know? Then, when I finally sit down this afternoon to actually write stuff - it's all gone! Vanished in a bright green puff of nothingness!
The big tree outside our kitchen window vanished yesterday too. One minute it was there, all leafy and waffling around in the wind, then, when I looked out the window a couple hours later - it was gone! No tree. Weird or what?! It does improve the view somewhat, though.
What a nice day it is today! All crisp and blue. And I love the trees at this time of year! Really nice! Once I figure out how to post a picture I'll show you what it looks like out of the window!

Oh joyous day!!!!! Oh finally the BBC have seen the error of their ways! Oh Happiness! Oh wonderful happening!!!! DR WHO is coming back to our TV's on Saturdays!!!! Can it be true!!!! FUN FUN FUN! We have won at last! Ha ha! Back oh evil DG of the Beeb! Just don't do the yellow phone box thing - ok????!!!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!! All is right with the world once more! Just as long as they don't mess with the basics, you know? Aaaahhhh, I think I'll go and have a nice cup of tea now.... and a biscuit! A choccy one! Or maybe even two!!!

I'm not sure why I'm writing this entry - I've nothing interesting to say at all. Mind you, I don't really have anything interesting to say most of the time really! I hate decorating. Absolutely appallingly bad at it. Really don't like it at all. Can't do it.
Can you guess what I've been up to mostly this week...?
I think I'll just go now. Sleep or something. Maybe read a bit. Or not.
Monkeys really creep me out you know.
I finally managed to put up the latest episode of Wonderwig today. I was a whole week late, which isn't good. It's only the second time that I've done that. Hopefully I'll get back to a more normal schedule soon. Bad Magz!

Oh, dear, I think I have to have another mump about TV Ads... why do they have to blow up the volume on them? I'll be sitting quite happily watching something then those Ads come blasting on at 5 times higher volume!!! I'm sure I'm not imagining it (although I wouldn't be surprised if I was - I've imagined some pretty weird stuff!) Maybe it's a sort of non-subliminal form of brainwashing - if you run the Ads loudly enough, then all those lovely consumers will have no option but to listen to our sales pitch and buy stuff!
Or maybe they work on the assumption that as soon as the Ads come on, everyone dashes out of the room to make tea, go to the oolie, take the dog for a walk etc so they have to push the vol up just so they can still hear them! It obviously hasn't occurred to the great PR TV Folkies out there, that the reason most people leave the room during a break is to AVOID the Ads!!!!
Mind you, don't get me wrong - I love Ads. Well most of them anyway! (See last entry!)
They probably turn down the programme volume too, just to force you put the TV up, so that the Ads will be EVEN LOUDER!!!! Bahhh!

AGGHHH! I can't stand adverts which tell me to 'do it NOW!' NO I WON'T - I'll do it IF and WHEN I want!!!! Stop telling me to do stuff NOW! I don't want to call NOW! I don't want to buy it NOW. I don't want a loan NOW!!!! GRRRR ARGGGGG!

Well, long time no blog! Well, I've been doing quite a lot of dull stuff recently - for instance, the other day I had to paint the front door - boring boring boring! So I thought that I'd make it more interesting by imagining that I was painting the Forth Road Bridge. This was ok for a while until I remembered that I really hate bridges - particularly the Forth Road Bridge! So that got pretty scarey and I had to try something else instead. This time, I decided I was painting the Space Station, which was pretty cool until my tether cord got hit by a rogue piece of space junk, (I think it was some of SpaceLab!) Next thing I was drifting out in endless nothingness with no way of getting back - so that was pretty scarey too. Good thing was though, by the time I'd dreamed all that up, I had finished the painting! Huzzah! Who says painting is dull!

Well, I've been feeling quite vague today. It's really not such a bad way to be you know. I think I might just stay this way! I wonder what I'll have for munchies this evening...? Can't really be bothered making anything much. Come to think of it, I can't even be bothered wandering to the fridge to see what delights are there. Wouldn't it be great if you could get a fridge that would come to you when called...you would have to give it a decent name though - no 'Frosties' or 'Freezees' or anything unoriginal like that...maybe Humpty would be a good name for a fridge - don't you think? Or how about Winifridge? Maybe I'll just call for a pizza! Hmmmm....pizza!

Friday Greetings chums! You know every so often, you come across something which makes you know that all is well with the world and the universe is just as odd as you suspected it to be? Well, today, I had a most excellent example of this - The Viennese Vegetable Orchestra. They play Cucumbers!!!! I wish they had had that option in Music at school - instead of trying to force me to play the French Horn, I would have been more than happy to learn the Cucumberophone! Ah well...

Ooooh! You know what I'm munching at this very moment??? RAINBOW DROPS!!!! Brilliant! I haven't had those since I was a little itty bitty Magz! They are just as yummy as I remember!!!! All those wonderful E additives are kicking in even as we speak!!!! Hmmmm...E additives....slurp! But they are made with bits of corn/maize stuffy so that's bound to be good for you! In fact - here is Swizzels (the company which produces such fine munchables) Mission Statement - and yes, I am rather perturbed that Rainbow Drops have a 'Mission Statement'...

Well, I certainly hope you all had a most spleriferous Shortbread Day (parts1 & 2 of course!) Unfortunately, I have a bit of the dreaded cold bug at the moment and so was unable to partake of the usual celebrations! Ah, well, next year perchance...So, what wondrous things have been going on in the land of Wiggy? Well, I just completed the 2nd book of Wiggy Episodes and have just started the 3rd exciting sketch book! Just think of all those new episodes waiting to be unleashed to an unsuspecting world...!
